If you haven't registered yet, please do so. But before that, please read the following.
1. Be Civil: We don't condone harassment, flaming, trolling, or any hostility on this forum. No strong language. We give a lot of feedback here, be mature about it, whether you're giving criticism or receiving it. There's a difference between being honest and being rude.
2. Stay on Topic: You may post something related to a previous post (you can help clarify that if you format it as a reply), however if you divert from the subject or start a completely different conversation don't be surprised if we delete it. Don't point out if someone is being off-topic in the thread, it doesn't help. Please, if you have to say something off topic, do it on the board titled "Rubbish".
3. Spam: You spam, I ban. If you post or advertise anything off-topic you will be banned without warning. Accounts created to promote some third-party product will be banned immediately. You may place a link to your webpage on your signature or if it is relevant to the topic.
4. Spelling & Grammar: When doing your post, limit your usage of capitalization and net-speak. We know its an online community (a gaming based community at that), but in order to understand and communicate with one another, we must use generally accepted English. K?
5. Pears: I hate pears.
6. Images: To avoid stretching the page, images in posts should be no more than 800x600p. Images posted in your signature should be no more than 500x200p.
7. One account per user: Multiple accounts will not be tolerated, no matter the circumstances. If you have to change your name, send a private message to an administrator and we'll see what we can do.
8. Recruiting: If you just post "Looking for voice actors/puppeteers, my gamertag is xxsadisticdreamer420xx", we'll delete it. This forum is meant for constructive collaboration. If you need a cast and crew, please be more descriptive and give more details about your project.
9. Stealing Ideas: Note that because this is meant to be a collaborative forum, your posts and ideas can be seen by others and easily stolen. There is little we can do about this except tell you to keep information regarding your project basic.
10. Explicit Content: Anything involving nudity, extreme gore, or pornography will be removed and will result in banning. Keep it PG-13 everyone.
11. Distribution of copyrighted material: Yes, we are aware that machinima is owned by several video game companies, they are under fair use. However, we will not condone any distribution of copyrighted material. This will immediately result in your post being removed and you will receive a ban.
12. Own up to your Projects: If you post a project, you're responsible for it. Don't depend on others to do your work for you or to follow your schedule, everything on this forum is strictly voluntary, hence you have to recognize that and cooperate with others.
You will be issued a warning if you have violated any of these policies. The penalty will be decided by the moderator based on the severity of your violation.
