In all of the Halo zombie machinimas, the only machinima maker to every consider the source of the undead was Black Shard productions. I would like to kick off my machinima making career by answering that question, why did this happen

Okay regarding this, my goal is to have a group of 6 SPARTAN IIIs in this Zombie apocalypse. The title of this machinima is going to be called "The Search for the Truth". I would like to actually get a trailer for it out by February, and the first episode out by March. I am recruiting 14-16 voice actors, due to the fact that the IIIs were sent into actual combat at that age, I would also like if anyone who knows how to listen to orders, offers good criticism on the plot line, and who knows how to speak clearly and properly. Also i would like any good camera people e to help too.

Are you pitching a project or brainstorming? Because if this is a proposal, then I may have to move this thread to Projects.

Are you recruiting 14 actors for 14 roles? If I can make a suggestion, streamlining is key. Even once the role has been casted, I often find that actually getting people to record and send the lines according to your schedule is the bane of progress. I find it's easier to cast less people and get each actor to play more than one role.
Basically, less people = faster progress.
Other than that, I like the idea of discovering the main cause rather than dealing with the results after the zombie infection. In fact, if you're only using humans and zombies you can probably try out the Halo 4 Flood gametype. I can't wait to see what people do with that.

Oh crap, I meant in age. But now that I think of it, we may need a few older people

Ahh I got you. Forget everything I said, you can find 14 year old squeakers by the barrel-full if you know where to look. They just can't wait to get "internet famous."

I've always wondered what a pubescent spartan would sound like.

One thing I will say to having young voice actors is that you don't see them. If they're talented enough a 16 year old can make it seem like he's 20. If you want older voice actors, be as professional as possible. Don't make it obvious you're a teenager.

True. My only issue as of right now is that I don't have a game capture. I'll try to get one come December
